W. E. Hill & Sons Violin Bow

A beautiful W. E Hill & Sons violin bow, mounted in gold on an ebony frog. The tip is gold as well and is clearly engraved # 17, which would indicate the name of the maker at the Hill shop. The handle end of the stick has the number 2056 in tiny numbers branded on the inside of the Hill style seating. This is a fine playing bow weighing 62 grams. It is from the estate of a physician who owned the bow for at least 20 years. The stick is straight and is octagonal. A great bow for playing as well as investing. Please contact us for price.
